Ms. Cheryl uses the art of experience, expression, and enjoyment to build a child’s appreciation for music. This weekly community partner will work with Little House campers! Toddlers’ work is to play, exploring many different instruments, props, textures, movements, and vocabulary. Dancing, singing, and instrument exploration continue with age-appropriate activities every week.

LH/CH: Romic Railways – Fire truck! 6/14                                                                    
Romic Railways Private Event Group has been a community partner with West Side for years! We’re excited to begin summer this year with Romic Railways brand new FIRE TRUCK! All Little House and Children’s House campers who would like to ride in the fire truck will have a turn!

Week 2  •  June 18-22  •  Superheroes around the World

Ms. Cheryl uses the art of experience, expression, and enjoyment to build a child’s appreciation for music. This weekly community partner will work with both Little House and Children’s House campers! Toddlers’ work is to play, exploring many different instruments, props, textures, movements and vocabulary. Preschool and kindergarten students learn the difference between steady beat and rhythm by learning to write, read and play rhythmic exercises. Dancing, singing, and instrument exploration continue with age-appropriate activities every week.

Herpetologists, Jake Burchell and Kaeden Miller, of Frogtown Exotics, LLC will visit campus each week bringing a variety of reptiles from their collection of over 30 creatures! Jake and Kaeden will share interesting facts about each reptile, offer hands-on experiences such as petting or holding reptiles, and build a fun and exciting foundation and appreciation for their exotic reptiles.

Week 3  •  June 25-29  •  Be What You Want to be!

LH/CH: Sing-a-long with The Wanna Bees Band  6/29                                                                                                                                     
What do you want to be when you grow up? Well, come and see what you can be with The Wanna Bees. Sing along with The Wanna Bees as they rock out to songs telling you what a day in their life is all about! Music made for kids, enjoyed by all! The Wanna Bees write songs catchy enough to grab the attention of kids, and cool enough for the whole family to enjoy.

Jake and Kaeden will share interesting facts about each reptile, offer hands-on experiences such as petting or holding reptiles, and build a fun and exciting foundation and appreciation for their exotic reptiles.

LH/CH: Pattrick’s Magic  6/28                                                                                                                                            
Pattrick’s Magic Show for kids is filled with magic, music, and plenty of audience participation. This show is a home run with a 100% clean and fun show. Pattrick’s Magic has thrilled 1000’s of kids and has won national championships all across the USA! We are very excited for Pattrick’s Magic to return this summer!

Week 4  •  July 2-3*  •  Frogtown Fireworks!

Half-day 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. $110/week • Full-day 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. $150/week

LH/CH: YMCA Gymnastics Center, Perrysburg  7/9                                                                                                                                              
YMCA coaches will join our campers in the Great Room working on a variety of gymnastics and tumbling skills. Campers will certainly enjoy this high-energy community partner! Campers will need comfortable clothes and a willingness to try new skills today!

LH/CH: Hula Hoops with Brittany Loren 7/25                                                                                                                                           
Brittany Loren has so many talents to share with your camper!  Join us for parachute games, learn to use the hula hoop or add tricks to your current skill set, and juggling.  Campers will also enjoy a demonstration show with flare and face painting!

Week 8  •  July 30-August 3  •  Anything can Happen!
