Alum Receives Competitive Scholarship

Allison Sachs, a 2020 West Side graduate, is starting her college career this fall at The Ohio State University with an impressive honor.
Allison was one of 36 students named to The Ohio State University Stamps Eminence Scholarship Program. This program brings exceptional students to Ohio State who embrace the collaborative spirit of “giving back” and have demonstrated academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, high regard for humanity, and a desire to positively impact society.

This year’s class was selected from a pool of over 700 applications, representing 25 states. The Stamps Eminence Scholarship covers the full cost of attendance at The Ohio State University for 8 full-time enrolled semesters. Scholars also receive access to an enrichment grant to support out-of-class experiences that contribute to their development as scholars, leaders, and individuals.

As a self-motivated learner, confident communicator, and compassionate leader, Allison (who attended Notre Dame Academy for high school) clearly embodies West Side’s Portrait of a Graduate. Congratulations to Allison!
