Part-Time Child Care Teacher

The Toledo Campus of West Side Montessori is currently seeking a part-time child care teacher for a position starting August 7, 2024. 
Our after-school child care program serves children in first grade through eighth grade. Child care staff provide activities, games, and movement to students who stay after school hours. The program runs from 3:30-5:30 PM.
 
Located on 37 acres of beautifully wooded property, West Side is approximately five miles from the Michigan border. We have served the Northwest Ohio community since 1975. West Side Montessori educates 400+ children 13 months - 8th grade. We are one of the largest private Montessori schools in the country and are accredited by the American Montessori Society.

Position Details and Hourly Rate:
  • part-time during the school year: August - June 
  • five days per week 2:30-5:30 
  • hourly rate of $15 per hour
  • Additionally, West Side offers a summer camp program where teachers and assistants have the option to work either full or part-time during the summer months for extra compensation. We also provide opportunities for staff to offer extracurricular classes if they wish.
 
Educational Requirements:
  • A high school diploma
