Preschool/Kindergarten Classroom Assistant (Toledo Campus)

West Side Montessori, Toledo Campus, has an opening for a part-time preschool assistant beginning August 2025. Our preschool program serves children ages 3 years - Kindergarten. Located on 37 acres of beautifully wooded property, West Side is approximately five miles from the Michigan border. We have served the Northwest Ohio community since 1975. West Side Montessori educates 400+ children from 13 months to 8th grade. We are one of the largest private Montessori schools in the country and are accredited by the American Montessori Society.
In addition to the Montessori teaching philosophy and core curriculum, West Side students are fortunate to experience curriculums from specialized instructors that include:
- Art (grades 1 - 8)
- Music (preschool - 8th grade)
- Technology/STEM (grades 1 - 8)
- Physical Education (kindergarten - 8th grade)
- Outdoor Education (toddler - 8th grade)
- World Language (preschool - 8th grade)
This hourly position is part-time during the school year of August - June. The hours are 11:15 - 5:45 p.m. West Side offers a summer camp program that teachers and assistants may choose to work (full or part-time) during the summer months for additional pay.
Educational Requirements:
- A high school diploma
Hourly Rate:
- The hourly rate is $15 per hour.
